I've always been creative. I can walk in a craft fair and whip up just about anything they have there. When I was pregnant for Justin 16 years ago my sister in law, Gwennie, made a nativity set out of wood. It really came out cute and she's an artist so she had fun being so creative. I thought I was having a girl and I was really into Precious Moments figurines so drew out some really cute characters and that's when I got hooked. I loved decorating for Christmas and I would add a new piece every year.
Fast forward to August 2005...We lived in Chalmette, LA. Hurricane Katrina covered my house in water to the roof, and the flood waters ruined my whole set stored in the attic. We moved across Lake Pontchartrain and started over in a brand new house in April of 2006. I had so much to do in the new house I didn't have any time for much else. We're all settled and I needed a new Nativity set so here we are!
I have a booth at the Mandeville Trailhead every Saturday 9-1 that you can come by and see the displays. I have some things for sale there but I will take orders here and you can pick them up there or we can arrange to meet. I will also have rentals for new baby announcements and showers, birthdays, and military. I'm working on building a variety of items.
Pull up a chair and visit. Welcome to my world.
